Taskora Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Taskora Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 16736403), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. "Taskora", "we" and "us" mean Taskora Ltd.

How these terms apply to you:

  • If you browse the website. If you look around taskora.ai without an account, you accept the parts of these terms that make sense for a visitor, including the rules on acceptable use, disclaimers, liability and governing law.
  • If you use the Services. If you create an account, start a trial or pay for a plan, you accept all of these terms. You create an account by asking us to email you a secure sign-up link and opening that link.

If you do not accept them, please do not use the website or the Services.

1. Definitions

  • Services — the Taskora app: workspaces, boards, projects, sprints, tasks and comments.
  • Website — the marketing and support pages at taskora.ai.
  • Workspace — a shared space you create in the Services for your team or organisation.
  • Member — a person you invite to your workspace, or a person whose workspace account you control.
  • Seat — a member who has accepted an invitation to your workspace and can sign in. An invitation nobody has accepted yet is not a seat.
  • Customer Content — the material you and your members put into the Services through your account, such as workspaces, boards, projects, sprints, tasks and comments.
  • Consumer — a person who uses the Services wholly or mainly outside a trade, business, craft or profession. Everyone else is a business customer. If your use is mixed — partly personal, partly for work — the statutory test decides, and we accept its outcome, including where it means you count as a consumer.

2. The Services

Taskora helps teams manage work. You create workspaces, invite members, and organise work using boards, projects, sprints, tasks and comments.

We keep improving the Services, so they will change. We may add features, change how existing features work, and stop offering features that few people use. We will not remove something you reasonably rely on without telling you first.

Beta features. We may offer you features that are still in development. Beta features may not work as expected, may change without notice, and may be withdrawn at any time. If you choose to use them, you do so knowing they are unfinished.

Feedback. If you send us feedback about the Services — unsolicited ideas, suggestions and comments you knowingly send us as feedback — we may use it to improve the Services. Anything you send through support channels, or that you mark confidential, is not feedback: it is Customer Content. We will not publish or attribute your feedback without your permission.

AI features. An AI assistant is in development and may be offered to early members first. It is not live today, and we make no promise about if or when it will launch. When AI features launch, we will publish clear terms for them before or when they go live. AI features may use a provider that processes data on our behalf. If so, we will name that provider in our privacy documentation. We will not train AI models on your workspace content.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Who can use the Services. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or accept an invitation to a workspace.

Who is agreeing. When you accept these terms, you confirm you are authorised to agree to them for yourself — or, if you accept them for an organisation, for example by creating a workspace for your team, for that organisation. We treat the account owner as the person who can bind it.

How accounts work. You sign in using the method offered at signup — today, a secure link sent to your email address. Treat that link, and access to your email account, like a password. We treat actions taken through your sign-up link, your session or your account as your actions. Keep your email account secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Accurate information. Give us accurate information about yourself when you sign up, and keep it up to date.

Inviting members. Only invite people you have the right to invite. When you send an invitation, you confirm that you may share that person's email address with us for that purpose. Members must follow these terms too, and you are responsible for how the people you invite use your workspace.

Suspension. We may suspend an account or workspace if payment fails, or if we reasonably believe it is being used to break these terms or to threaten the Services, our systems or other people. We will give notice and a chance to fix things first where that is practical.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Services or the Website to:

  • do anything unlawful, or to store or share content that is unlawful where you or the content is located;
  • infringe someone else's copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights;
  • distribute spam, malware or anything designed to cause harm;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the Services without our written permission;
  • overload or interfere with the Services, or use automated tools to extract data from them at scale;
  • disguise automated activity as human activity.

What we do about violations. We investigate reports and suspicious activity. If you break these terms, we choose a response that is proportionate: usually a warning and a chance to fix it, sometimes removing specific content, and for serious or repeated breaches, restricting or closing the account. Where the law requires us to cooperate with law enforcement or regulators, we will.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content stored in a workspace infringes your copyright, email dmca@taskora.ai with the details. We will review it and act promptly. That address is simply our copyright-complaints contact: we are a UK company, and it is not a US DMCA notice-and-takedown process.

5. Customer Content

You own your content. Customer Content belongs to you and your members. We do not claim ownership of it, and we will not sell it, resell it or license it to anyone else.

The licence you give us. To host and run the Services for you, we need a limited licence. You grant us the right to host, store, transmit, back up, display and otherwise process Customer Content, but only to the extent needed to operate, secure and support the Services for you and your members — and for nothing else. In particular, we will not use Customer Content to train AI models, and we will not use it in our marketing without your separate permission.

Backups and legal requests. The licence includes making backups of Customer Content and, where the law requires it, disclosing Customer Content to a competent authority. When we receive a legal request about your workspace, we aim to tell you before we comply, unless the law prohibits us from doing so.

Your controls. You can ask us to export or delete Customer Content at any time by emailing support@taskora.ai, and you can also use any export tools we build into the Services.

6. Our content and third-party material

The Services and the Website may contain links and third-party material, for example integrations or sites we link to. We do not control or endorse them. Your use of them is your choice, happens on their terms, and we are not responsible for it.

7. Orders, trials and billing

Free to start. Until 1 November 2026, the Services are free to start. We will not ask for a credit card, and nothing will be charged during this free period. The free period ends on 1 November 2026 for everyone. It is not a free tier, and it does not continue after that date: from 1 November 2026, you need a paid plan to use the Services — including if your workspace was created during the free period. We will email you before the free period ends so nothing is a surprise. We will never charge you anything until you have chosen a plan and confirmed payment, and we will always tell you, in plain words and before you commit, when you are about to pay.

Founding members. If you created your account during the free period, you are a founding member. Founding discounts — up to 70% off at launch — are agreed with each founding member individually and confirmed in writing, for example by email. Your locked price is the figure in your own written confirmation, not the top of the range. If you have not received a written figure, ask us at hello@taskora.ai and we will confirm yours in writing.

Trials. After 1 November 2026, a new customer can start with a 14-day free trial before choosing a paid plan. Trials are limited to one per person and one per organisation. If you have already used one — including under another account — we may decline to start another.

Plans and prices. There is one flat plan that includes every feature. Prices are in US dollars: $10 per seat per month billed yearly (about 23% less than monthly), or $13 per seat per month billed monthly. Enterprise arrangements are available on request at the same flat price. We may change list prices for new customers and introduce new plans. Changes for existing customers follow the price-change rule below.

Seats. You pay for each seat. We never charge for pending invitations, and you can remove a seat when someone leaves. If one person is a member of several workspaces you own, they take a seat in each. You manage seats in your workspace settings.

How billing works. We take your payment details only when you choose a paid plan. A trial never becomes a paid plan by itself: charging begins only after you have chosen a plan, been shown the total price — including all taxes, if you are a UK consumer — and confirmed your order. You can change your mind right up to the moment charging starts. Your order is placed at checkout through our payment processor; the sale contract forms as described at checkout, and the plan is active on your account once your order is confirmed.

Renewal and cancellation. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time, without contacting us; the routes — in your account settings, or through the payment processor's customer portal — are shown before you pay. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Before a yearly plan renews, we will email you a reminder. New rules for subscription contracts are arriving under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024; when they apply to us we will follow them, including renewal reminders and an easy online exit, and nothing in these terms reduces the rights they give you.

Price changes. If we increase the price of your plan, you will hear it from us first. We will email you in plain language at least 30 days before your next renewal, and the new price takes effect at the first renewal after that notice — never during a term you have already paid for. If you do not accept it, cancel before the renewal and pay nothing more.

Taxes. The total price shown at checkout — including all applicable taxes — is what you pay. Sales taxes are handled as part of the checkout, and who issues the invoice — us or the payment processor we appoint (to be determined; see below) — will be stated at checkout before you commit. If you are a business charged a tax you should not have paid, refunds are handled under the processor's terms.

How payment works. Paid plans are sold through a payment processor we appoint. That processor has not been appointed yet — it is to be determined, and we will announce it here and at checkout, with its checkout terms and privacy policy, before paid plans start on 1 November 2026. The Services themselves are licensed to you by us under these terms. Your card details go to the processor and never reach us. From the processor we receive only what we need to run your account; what that is will be disclosed in our privacy policy before billing starts.

Your 14-day cancellation right (UK consumers). If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel a new paid subscription within 14 days of the contract being formed, without giving a reason. Your purchase is made from the payment processor we appoint, and its checkout terms and refund policy handle this right — with us making sure the mechanics below happen in practice.

  • If supply has not begun, you pay nothing and everything you paid is refunded in full.
  • Supply begins during those 14 days only if you expressly ask to start straight away. At checkout you are asked for that express consent, and to acknowledge that if you cancel after supply has begun, you pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied.
  • The proportionate amount is one 365th of the yearly price, or one 30th of the monthly price, for each day from the day supply began to the day you cancel. The rest is refunded.

Before you order, you are given the pre-contract information the Regulations require, including these terms, the total price including VAT, and how to cancel. This right is in addition to everything else in these terms, and to anything the payment processor's terms give you.

Our 30-day promise. If you decide within 30 days of your first payment that the Services are not right for you, tell us and we will refund that first payment in full. This applies to businesses and consumers alike, and it is on top of — not instead of — your statutory rights. It is limited to one refund per person and per organisation: if we have already refunded you once, we may decline a second, though we will never refuse a genuine first refund.

Problems with a charge. If a charge looks wrong, email support@taskora.ai and we will investigate promptly with the payment processor. Refunds at the payment level and chargebacks are handled under the processor's terms.

8. Availability, maintenance and third-party services

We aim to make the Services available 24 hours a day, every day. We do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We sometimes need to maintain, repair or upgrade the Services. We will give you advance notice of planned maintenance where practical, though emergencies do not wait.

The Services rely on providers we do not own, including hosting, data storage, email delivery and payment processing. We choose them carefully, but we do not control them, and problems at their end can affect the Services.

9. Disclaimers

We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, we make no promises about the Services beyond what these terms say. In particular, we do not promise that the Services will meet all of your requirements, that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular feature will stay available indefinitely.

UK consumers. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content and services we supply for payment must be of satisfactory quality, fit for the purposes made known to you, and as described, and you have remedies if they are not. We cannot and do not exclude or limit those rights or remedies.

10. Liability

This section sets out our financial responsibility to each other. It is written for business customers and consumers together, and the consumer rules always win where they differ.

Losses neither side can claim (business customers). To the extent the law allows, neither we nor a business customer is liable for indirect or consequential losses. These include lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of goodwill, and loss of data to the extent you could have avoided it by keeping your own exports.

Our cap. Our total liability for claims under these terms is limited to the fees paid or payable for your plan in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If your account is free — during the free period, a free trial or a beta — the cap is 0 US dollars: the plan is free, and during that time we are not providing compensation beyond the carve-outs below.

What the cap does not cover. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited.

Data protection. Nothing in this section limits our liability for our breach of the data processing agreement between us (including the transfer and security terms it incorporates), for our use of a subprocessor that agreement does not permit, for transferring personal data without the safeguard it requires, or for failing to tell you about a personal-data breach in time for you to meet your own legal duties.

Consumers. If you are a consumer, we remain fully responsible wherever the law requires, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights (see section 9). The exclusions and caps above apply to you only so far as the law permits. If a court decides any part of this section is unfair to a consumer, that part will not apply, and the rest will.

11. Indemnity

If you are a business customer, and a third party brings a claim against us because of your Customer Content or your unlawful use of the Services, you will cover our resulting losses and reasonable costs, including legal costs, to the extent the claim is caused by you.

Apart from what the law requires, we have not promised to indemnify you for third-party claims.

12. Termination

Ending your plan. You can cancel at any time in your account settings. If you have paid in advance, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for, and the part you have not used is not refunded — unless our 30-day promise, the material-change rule in section 13, or your statutory rights entitle you to more.

When we can end things. We may terminate or suspend all or part of the Services for your workspace:

  • with 30 days' notice, if you materially break these terms and do not fix it after we ask you to;
  • immediately, if payment has failed and remains unpaid, if you use the Services unlawfully, or if we reasonably believe there is a serious risk to the Services, our systems, other customers or the public.

We will give notice and a reason where that is practical.

After termination. Your and your members' licences to use the Services end. For 30 days after termination you can export Customer Content — by asking us at support@taskora.ai, or using any export tools the Services offer. We then delete Customer Content from our live systems within 30 days after that export window closes, keeping only records we must keep by law, such as invoices. Backup copies are deleted within 35 days, the rolling cycle stated in our privacy policy (taskora.ai/legal/privacy-policy) and our data processing agreement. If we withdraw a plan or feature you are on, we will tell you and give you a fair chance to export your content or move to a replacement.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Services and the law change.

  • Material changes. A change is material if it affects the price you pay, the seat model, core functionality you reasonably rely on, our liability to you, or the way you cancel. We will email you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you do not accept it, cancel before it takes effect and we will refund the part of your subscription that would have run after the change took effect.
  • Minor changes. Small or administrative changes take effect when we publish the updated terms with a new "last updated" date.

Continuing to use the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Ordinary cancellation always runs to the end of the billing period you have paid for: apart from the refund above, our 30-day promise and your statutory rights, cancelling early does not by itself trigger a refund. If you are a consumer, changes never reduce your statutory rights.

14. Intellectual property

We own the Services and the Website, including their software, design and content, and the Taskora name and logo. Nothing in these terms transfers our intellectual property to you, except the limited rights you need to use the Services as intended. Do not copy the Services to build a competing product, and do not use our name, logo or content without our written permission. For ideas and feedback you send us, see section 2.

15. Export and sanctions

You must not use the Services if the law prohibits you from doing so, including under UK, EU, US or UN trade sanctions or export control rules. Do not use the Services to move information in breach of applicable export laws.

16. Notices and complaints

Everyday notices go to the email address on your account, or for workspaces, the account owner's address. We may also show notices inside the Services.

Formal legal notices to Taskora should be sent by post to Taskora Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, marked for the attention of the directors.

Complaints. Email support@taskora.ai. We run a complaints process: we will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and respond substantively without undue delay. For data protection complaints, see our privacy policy (taskora.ai/legal/privacy-policy), which also explains how to escalate to the UK data protection regulator.

17. Other terms

Assignment. We may transfer these terms and your subscription if we reorganise or sell our business, and we will tell you. You may not transfer them without our written consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold.

Events outside our control. We are not liable for failing to perform where the failure is caused by something beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes or wide-scale internet or infrastructure failure. We will do what we reasonably can to catch up afterwards.

Severability. If a court decides part of these terms is unlawful, that part falls away and the rest still applies.

Waiver. If we do not enforce a rule straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.

Signed copies. If you would like a signed copy of these terms, email support@taskora.ai; for the data processing agreement, email privacy@taskora.ai. We will return a countersigned copy. Where a countersigned version exists it takes precedence over the self-serve text, and we record which version you accepted, and when, in your account.

Whole agreement. These terms, together with any plan details shown to you when you order and the documents they refer to, form the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. Those documents include our privacy policy (taskora.ai/legal/privacy-policy) and our data processing agreement (taskora.ai/legal/dpa), which applies whenever you use the Services for an organisation whose members' data you control. This does not limit anything the law says is part of your contract.

18. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can settle any dispute arising out of them.

If you are a consumer living outside the UK, and the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts and does not allow that right to be taken away, you keep it. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, the mandatory protections of the consumer law of your country of habitual residence also apply to your contract with us, and nothing in these terms limits them.
